The first episode of the 5th season of Mad Men, that aired last Monday in the United States had an interesting surprise for lovers of French music. In one scene, Don Draper’s new wife performed a rendition of Zou Bisou Bisou in his birthday party.

It was a uncomfortable to watch, but basically because, as far as I know, Don is not the kind of guy who appreciates those sorts of public displays of affection. Check it out:

The original recording was sang by Gillian Hills and, for those who don’t remember, she’s the girl that have a steamy ménage à trois with Jane Birkin and David Hemmings in the classic Blow-up, by Michelangelo Antonioni.
