I’m not sure if I ever mentioned this before here in the blog, but I’m a bit of a psycho when it comes to songs. Sometimes, I get addicted to only one song and I can’t stop listening to it until I get (almost) physically sick. That happened when I first listened to Berry’s latest album Les Passagers. The song that first caught my attention was Ce Matin. I got really addicted to it for about 2 weeks, listening the song every single day, at least 10 times a day. Now, for some reason, I thought about Ce Matin again…

Last month I was fortunate enough to watch a free concert Berry gave in one of the Fnac Stores in Paris. I had to arrive early, of course, but I was so close to her and the concert was just so adorable that the waiting in line was worth the while.

Everyone knows that the beautiful and talented singer Berry is releasing a new record. After putting on her website a video with scenes of the recordings of Si c’est la vie, the first single of her very awaited second record, she now gave us another taste of what’s yet to come. For those who will be lucky enough to be in Paris in June, Berry is scheduled to play in the 12th and 13th. The tickets are already available for sale and they cost 25 euros.

Yay! Berry, one of my favorites from the nouvelle scène française, gave us a little present today. Her new record, to be released on April 23, is entirely online, available to listen in streaming. How awesome is that? I just love when artists (and the labels) make decisions like this. It kind of gives me a feeling that they understand a little something about the world today. If you’re ready to listen, simple choose one of the two options given below (connect with Facebook or give your email address) and you’re ready to go! If that doesn’t work, the original…

Sweet dear Berry finally released the single for her new record, the very much awaited Les Passagers. The French singer’s second album will be out on April 23 but, meanwhile we can delight both our eyes and ears with the video for Si c’est la vie. And here is the front cover for Berry’s new record, with a stunning pic. Doesn’t she look amazing?

The next months will be very productive for the French scene. Some of my favorite artists announced new releases and, to keep things organized, I decided to make a list that will help me keep track of the many new records! ANAÏS Yesterday she announced on her Facebook Fan Page that her new record is ready and will be released on March, 5th. She already released Je n’embrasse pas les garçons and that she will be releasing another new song on February 17, check out the teaser: Anaïs – Danseuse Privée (teaser) por umusic_____________________________________________________________________________ EMILY LOIZEAUEmily has been posting on…

This post was originally written in Portuguese for the site Conexão Paris. Berry is the codename of the young singer Élise Pottier, and although her nickname reminds us of a fruit (and her voice is as sweet as one), the choice of the name is related to a reference to the birthplace of controversial writer George Sand (who has been, among other things, Chopin’s lover). Berry is a breath of fresh air, one of those singers that make us smile without us really knowing why. She began her artistic career in dedicating to the theater. At age 16, decided to quit…

The dearest, sweet adorable French singer Berry announced a new record. The work, still without a name, will be released in March, 2012. However, last week, Berry released a single of the new album, so we could have a taste of what waits for us next year. The name of the song is Si c’est la vie, and it sounds like Berry’s next CD will sound as good as the first one.

Vincent Liben is one of the new talents to watch on French music. He is Belgium and released his debut record in August this year. I haven’t heard it yet, but I’m super excited about a duet he released in March with beautiful French singer Berry. To promote the song, they released a very sweet video clip of the song on Youtube: After digging up some more information about Liben, I found his SoundCloud page (I just love soundcloud!) and here’s one of the songs released in his first album: La Condition De L’Allumette by vincent liben
