Chanson de Lundi

Madeleine Peyroux is an American singer that grew up in Paris, and granddaughter of a Frenchwoman from whom she took the artistic last name. Peyroux used to be a Parisian street singer and, for that reason, it wasn’t a big surprise when she released a version of  J’ai deux amours, a song that was immortalized by the Josephine Baker.

And that’s today’s Chanson de Lundi.
